The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Facilitator (SRAE) role is onsite at the Lakeland or Tampa, Florida office, depending on program needs. Pay is $16.00–$20.00 per hour. The role supports Tampa Bay Academy of Hope’s PATHS (Promoting Abstinence Through Health and Self-Awareness) Program, which provides sexual risk avoidance education to youth. The facilitator delivers the Heritage Keepers curriculum and helps youth build knowledge around sexual risk avoidance, healthy relationships, and self-awareness. The role also supports participant engagement, program documentation, coordination with partner organizations, and consistent delivery across varied youth schedules.

What you'll do

• Deliver sexual risk avoidance education sessions using the Heritage Keepers curriculum
• train a cohort of 100 participants during year one
• create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• maintain participant contact and training records and submit program reports
• collaborate with peers and partner organizations
• attend networking and training sessions
• coordinate schedules with other facilitators and a program assistant.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Heritage Keepers curriculum training may require travel to Charleston, South Carolina; occasional travel may also be required for networking and training.
