The IT Tech & Simulation Support Specialist role follows a hybrid schedule in New Hope, TN, with four in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday. Compensation is $38,894.07–$68,341.37 per year. The role supports Chamberlain University’s campus technology and nursing simulation learning environments. As a Tier 2 technician, the specialist supports campus and associated locations, maintains classroom and lab equipment, and provides intermediate technical support to the SimCare Center. This work helps keep technology and simulation resources available for students, faculty, and staff.

What you'll do

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
  • inspect classroom equipment and process repair tickets
  • build and deploy images and software packages
  • assist student workers and support technicians
  • maintain lab equipment and security
  • support network, server, and telecommunications needs
  • troubleshoot staff, student, and faculty issues
  • coordinate onsite vendor work
  • provide intermediate SimCare Center support and equipment setup
  • support simulation labs, learning spaces, and training sessions.

Why this role

The role requires approximately 10 hours per week of SimCare support. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. An associate degree in a technical field and classroom-equipment experience are preferred; two years of desktop or help-desk support and Active Directory experience are required.
