Entry-Level Transmission Engineer

What you'll do

• Assist in creating detailed overhead and underground transmission-line drawings and complete design packages for construction
• develop structure framing and load-bearing element details, including hardware, insulators, grounding, duct banks, and vaults
• make periodic site visits as required to verify design intent and support construction
• coordinate with internal and external resources and provide design-status updates
• perform calculations and prepare reports
• assist with cost estimates
• maintain accurate records and follow document-control, QA/QC, and safety standards.
