Class A CDL Yard Jockey and Inventory Movement Specialist

Job overview

The Class A CDL Yard Jockey and Inventory Movement Specialist role is hybrid between the yard and warehouse in Chelmsford, MA, with compensation of $35 per hour and up (DOE). The schedule is 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with some weekends and overtime as needed. The role supports the production plant and warehouse while following food safety and food defense standards. The specialist moves materials locally, stages and secures pallets, and records inventory movements to help maintain accurate stock and keep production and shipping on schedule.

What you'll do

• Model safe work practices, wear required PPE, and maintain floor awareness
• keep the workspace organized
• load, unload, and shuttle materials within production and warehouse areas and to and from the satellite warehouse
• operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment after training and certification
• document inventory movements
• support production and shipping commitments
• report product damage, labeling issues, and stock discrepancies
• follow Food Safety and Food Defense requirements
• complete monthly safety training
• work overtime when needed.
