Campus Security Officer

The Campus Security Officer is an onsite contract role based in Portsmouth, VA. The hourly wage is $16.50. This position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises and patrolling a variety of locations. This role exists to preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The officer provides customer service and information to the client's employees and customers while ensuring the safety of property and personnel.

What you'll do

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
• Conduct frequent patrols, including walking and climbing stairs.
• Enforce regulations and directives.
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees.
