What you'll do

• Clean, assemble, install, and align tools, fixtures, and dies
• verify setup accuracy, safeguards, and auxiliary equipment
• set up machines and stage subcomponents
• set and fill lubrication systems according to specifications
• observe machine operation and perform limited dimensional inspection
• troubleshoot production performance problems
• perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance
• complete first-piece evaluations
• report setup and labor data
• document setup instructions for new or revised processes
• maintain a clean and safe work center.
