Medication Aide

The Medication Aide role is onsite in Moyock, NC, with pay of $13–$20 per hour. The aide supports resident health and well-being at Currituck House, a community focused on safe, comfortable, and vibrant living for seniors. The role contributes to resident safety and independence by administering and documenting medications accurately, monitoring health changes, supporting basic care under licensed staff supervision, and maintaining secure medication records and supplies.

What you'll do

• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols
• store, handle, and dispose of medications properly
• monitor and report adverse reactions
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, and physical condition
• measure and record vital signs as needed
• assist with basic healthcare tasks under licensed staff supervision
• encourage participation in wellness activities
• follow infection-control procedures and healthcare regulations
• maintain organized and secure medication carts, records, and supplies
• assist during emergencies.
