What you'll do

• Float among multiple ICU environments and potentially other hospital areas based on patient-care and staffing needs
• assess patients and identify actual or potential needs
• develop and revise individualized multidisciplinary care plans
• communicate through SBAR and handoffs
• implement and evaluate nursing interventions
• educate patients and families
• document care in the electronic medical record
• respond to emergencies
• support peer development and unit improvement activities.
