The Material Handler / Deburr - 1st Shift role is onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour, paid weekly. Openwork is recruiting for an industrial manufacturing company. The role prepares metal components for production by deburring, grinding, cleaning, and inspecting parts, while also moving and staging materials. Safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes, accurate measuring, and organized production areas help maintain quality and material flow.

What you'll do

• Remove burrs, nicks, sharp edges, and rough surfaces from sheet metal and steel plate
• grind, deburr, clean, and prepare parts
• collect and remove scrap
• load and unload materials from machines
• operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• measure parts with a tape measure
• inspect finished parts
• stage materials
• follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
