What you'll do

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• supervise and direct assigned nursing staff activities
• monitor patient status and recognize changes
• administer ordered medications and therapies
• document care accurately
• collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and case management on care plans
• follow safety, infection-control, and quality practices
• provide patient and family education as appropriate
• participate in discharge planning and transitions of care.
