What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team
• identify, qualify, and onboard manufacturers and machine shops
• develop procurement strategy and policy
• manage supplier relationships, negotiations, agreements, and performance reviews
• plan and purchase parts, supplies, and equipment
• forecast needs and monitor stock
• mitigate supplier and contract risks
• own the department budget and track material cost variances
• oversee requisitions and purchase orders
• implement process improvements
• address supplier quality and delivery issues
• ensure supplier compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
