What you'll do

• Review daily plans and trenching layout preparations
• check fluid levels and clean machine areas
• spot the operator and help maintain trench dimensions and location
• monitor equipment for abnormalities
• maintain a safe work area and visible layout markings
• manage fuel and consumables
• coordinate resupply
• run errands for parts or supplies
• keep support trucks and equipment clean and organized.
