The Development Director role is onsite in Little Rock, AR, with compensation starting at $73,860 per year. The CALS Foundation supports programs and projects of the Central Arkansas Library System. This role leads the library’s comprehensive fundraising program, builds and stewards donor relationships, and manages development staff, grants, volunteers, and fundraising communications to advance the CALS Strategic Plan and strengthen library programs and services.

What you'll do

• Lead annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, sponsorships, grants, fundraising events, and campaigns
• cultivate and steward donors
• supervise Development Office staff and vendors
• manage donor and gift procedures and systems
• support grant research and applications, volunteer programs, and fundraising communications
• coordinate with the CALS Foundation Board and senior leadership.
