The Youth City Council Member role is an onsite opportunity in American Fork, UT; compensation is not specified. Highland City’s Youth Council works with the city to serve and strengthen the community. Council members meet monthly, participate in council activities, and lead at least one service project or event during the term. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the city through service while developing leadership skills and knowledge of local government.

What you'll do

• Attend at least 80% of council meetings, retreats, trainings, and activities
• actively participate in meetings and service projects
• lead at least one service project
• demonstrate exemplary conduct
• and serve during the stated term. Council roles may include mayor, deputy mayor, recorder, treasurer, and service and events chair.
