The People & Culture Intern role is onsite in Des Moines, IA. Compensation is not specified. The internship supports Landus Cooperative’s Human Resources team and provides exposure to recruitment, talent development, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. The intern assists with HR projects and contributes to related community outreach, recruitment communications, training, and safety activities. The role helps the department advance its goals while giving the intern opportunities to apply classroom skills and work with multiple business units.

What you'll do

• Assist with creating and formatting job descriptions and job postings
• create templates in the HRIS
• help develop an intern scholarship program
• participate in community organizations and engagement
• assist with recruitment videos
• shadow the Training Manager and learn about new employee orientation and training
• learn about location audits and attend an investigation if possible.
