Job overview
The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Tempe, AZ. Compensation is $26–$33 per hour. The machinist supports production of precision, mission-critical aerospace components. This role sets up, operates, and proves out CNC mills and lathes, helping produce aerospace-grade parts that meet tight tolerances and quality requirements.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate CNC vertical or horizontal mills and/or lathes
- perform setups, changeovers, and prove-outs on lathe or 3-, 4-, and 5-axis jobs
- use machine probing for work offsets and in-cycle verification
- interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
- maintain tight tolerances
- troubleshoot vibration, tool wear, and tolerance drift.
