What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care needs with physicians and physician assistants
• complete forms and charting
• check schedules and prepare charts for test results
• organize patient flow
• room patients, collect histories, and conduct screenings per physician guidelines
• record medical histories, vital statistics, and test results
• answer calls and document calls and prescription refills
• maintain clean exam rooms and instruments
• restock supplies
• follow infection-control, biohazard, universal-precaution, and HIPAA requirements.
