The Cook works onsite in Greer, SC, with pay of $19–$20 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 4:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or Sunday through Friday, 6:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. Canteen provides food, service, and workplace dining solutions for companies. The cook prepares food to established recipes and service schedules, maintains food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and supports production planning and supply handling. The role helps provide consistent, quality food service.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and schedules
• portion and serve meals at proper temperatures
• taste prepared items
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving
• report maintenance needs and accidents
• follow HACCP and company safety procedures.
