The Pharmacy Cashier works onsite in Hackettstown, New Jersey, on a part-time basis. Compensation is $15.92–$16.30 per hour. By handling checkout and prescription-pickup interactions accurately and courteously, the cashier helps patients and customers navigate front-counter service while supporting the pharmacy team’s daily operations. The role also helps keep the store organized and directs clinical questions to the pharmacist.

What you'll do

• Operate the point-of-sale register for prescriptions, copays, and merchandise
• greet and assist customers
• direct clinical questions to the pharmacist
• verify patient name and date of birth at pickup and follow HIPAA procedures
• process payments
• handle returns, price checks, calls, and refill requests
• stock and rotate shelves
• maintain a clean checkout area and store
• assist with deliveries and inventory.
