FBA Lunch Coordinator

Job overview

The FBA Lunch Coordinator role is an onsite position in Powell, TN. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. First Baptist Powell’s lunch program serves students and staff while following U.S. Department of Agriculture and school policies and procedures. The coordinator manages kitchen operations from food production through staff support, helping ensure adequate meals, safe sanitation, accurate records, and a positive service environment. The role also supports productive relationships among kitchen staff, students, parents, and faculty.

What you'll do

• Calculate recipe quantities and meal requirements
• supervise daily food preparation, cook, prepare portions, and perform other food-preparation duties
• monitor sanitation practices
• prepare food-service reports and paperwork
• receive, verify, and submit food and supply orders
• conduct monthly inventory
• serve food to students
• clean kitchen equipment and perform general cleaning
• work with students, parents, and faculty to address quality, service, and problems.
