General Manager, Residential Home Services

Job overview

The General Manager role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with compensation of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Advanced Worker brings three trades together to serve residential customers across home services. This role exists to grow profitable revenue while improving customer retention, margins, technician utilization, and consistent operating performance. The General Manager leads service, sales, and operations managers and establishes a weekly rhythm for visible, repeatable results.

What you'll do

• Grow profitable revenue by converting demand into completed work and increasing replacements, maintenance agreements, and add-on services
• improve retention and referrals by reducing callbacks, missed appointments, and slow follow-up
• improve gross margin and technician utilization through pricing, job costing, and dispatch
• develop managers
• establish weekly scorecards, pipeline, hiring, and safety routines
• uphold safety, licensing, and in-home conduct standards.
