Tank Inspection Technician

Job overview

The Tank Inspection Technician role is onsite in National City, CA, with daily travel to customer locations in the assigned service area; pay is $23.50–$26.50 per hour. WestAir supplies industrial, medical, food, and specialty gases to customers across the southwestern United States. The technician maintains the safe and reliable operation of bulk and microbulk cryogenic supply systems. Through inspections, repairs, testing, documentation, and customer communication, the role supports regulatory compliance and dependable gas supply systems.

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair bulk and microbulk cryogenic systems
• install and maintain telemetry and monitoring equipment
• identify and repair leaks
• repair or replace system components
• perform tube bending and minor piping repairs
• clean, refurbish, prepare, and paint tanks
• complete safety checks and service records
• communicate findings and recommendations
• maintain tools, parts, vehicles, and equipment
• follow safety and regulatory requirements.

Why this role

Daily customer-site travel is required, and a company vehicle is provided. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; overtime and after-hours work may be required.
