What you'll do

• Oversee daily back-of-house operations, including opening and closing, food preparation, production, cleanliness, and organization
• hire, train, coach, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff
• ensure food meets recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety compliance and records
• monitor inventory, order products, and manage receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and waste
• help control food and labor costs
• maintain kitchen equipment and report repair needs
• and coordinate with the general manager and front-of-house leadership. Requires at least three years of experience as a kitchen manager or similar restaurant kitchen leader. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
