What you'll do

• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery
• conduct antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum assessments
• assess neonates and perform neonatal resuscitation according to AHA/AAP guidelines
• monitor fetal heart rate patterns
• administer medications safely
• revise and evaluate care plans
• educate patients and families
• assist physicians with procedures
• document care
• coordinate with other departments and providers
• participate in performance improvement and quality activities.
