Associate Mental Health Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC)

The Associate Mental Health Therapist role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with compensation of $31–$36 per hour, plus bonus opportunities. Silver Lake Psychology is a therapist-owned practice providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Under clinical supervision, the associate provides outpatient therapy while working toward full licensure. The role contributes to quality client care by building a caseload, meeting supervision and documentation requirements, and using evidence-based approaches within state licensing rules.

What you'll do

• Under direct supervision of a licensed clinician, assess biopsychosocial needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities
• seek client or parent feedback
• maintain a minimum caseload of 28 clients per week for the full-time W-2 role
• complete timely clinical documentation
• participate in required individual and/or group supervision
• follow ethical standards, licensing rules, and organizational policies.
