Multifamily Estimator

Job overview

The Multifamily Estimator role is onsite in Allen, TX; candidates must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Compensation is not specified. The role supports FTK Construction Services’ multifamily residential and affordable housing construction projects. The estimator analyzes plans and specifications and develops accurate, competitive cost estimates so project teams can prepare bids within deadlines. The role works with project managers, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and other partners to assess project costs and support successful project delivery.

What you'll do

• Review and analyze project plans and specifications
• prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects
• collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors
• identify and quantify production time, materials, and labor costs
• develop and maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships
• complete accurate, competitive estimates within deadlines.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field and at least five years of construction estimating experience, preferably on multifamily projects. Proficiency with estimating software such as ProEst, Procore, or Bluebeam is requested.
