What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• support exercise and range-of-motion activities when ordered and qualified
• do patient laundry
• follow home-safety practices and use equipment safely
• recognize emergencies
• follow care plans
• communicate with clients, families, and the office
• document and report changes to the nurse supervisor.
