Staff Accountant – Water

The Staff Accountant – Water role is onsite in Dallas, TX. Compensation is not specified. It coordinates revenue accruals and invoice review, reconciles accounting and field data, prepares accounting entries and reconciliations, investigates discrepancies, and assists with audit documentation and deposit application.

What you'll do

• Support the Senior Accountant for the Water Sourcing & Treatment segment
• coordinate with Business Development on revenue accruals and review Water Sales Invoices
• reconcile accounting and field data
• build monthly and weekly reporting tools
• maintain financial records in compliance with GAAP
• participate in journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and check requests
• investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
• assist with audit requests and supporting documents
• review and apply deposits related to Water Sales Invoices.
