The Superintendent, Commercial Construction role is onsite in Downers Grove, IL, with frequent check-ins at the office and projects throughout the Chicagoland area. Compensation is $90,000–$150,000 per year. RWE Design Build leads commercial construction projects. The superintendent leads field construction efforts and monitors project schedules, quality, and coordination. The role supports timely project completion by aligning subcontractors, owners, architects, materials, inspections, and closeout activities with plans and specifications.

What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, sites, local codes, officials, and inspection procedures
• coordinate construction schedules and quality
• conduct meetings with subcontractors
• ensure materials arrive according to schedule
• resolve conflicts with owners, representatives, architects, and subcontractors and communicate them to the project manager
• maintain look-ahead schedules, daily logs, photographs, and weekly Procore reports
• complete paperwork
• attend project meetings and inspections
• coordinate punch lists and closeouts. Local travel is required
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
