What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and direct Child Nutrition programs and cafeterias
• oversee meal preparation, service, nutrition, sanitation, purchasing, safety, and accounting
• supervise and evaluate staff
• manage audits and required records
• develop budgets and monitor costs
• plan menus and meal-program participation
• coordinate procurement and contracts
• monitor sites for compliance
• and communicate with district leaders, families, and the community.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of school nutrition program management experience, plus five years managing school nutrition programs. Requires a valid California driver’s license, ServSafe certificate, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance. Bilingual ability is preferred.
