The Director of Nursing, Hospice role is onsite in Champaign, IL, with compensation of $95,000–$100,000 per year. The role contributes to consistent patient-centered care through clinical leadership, quality improvement, education, and team development.

What you'll do

• Guide interdisciplinary teams in developing individualized palliative-care plans
• assess and authorize changes in levels of care
• provide nursing interventions and direct patient care when necessary. Lead quality investigations and improvement, evaluate care-plan effectiveness, mentor and educate staff and community partners, and oversee hiring, supervision, evaluation, and coaching of clinical staff. Partner with the Administrator on manpower and operational budgets.
