What you'll do

• Implement pre-operative records and nursing care plans, assimilate patient hospital records, carry out physician orders, obtain consent signatures, and support continuity and quality of nursing care. Evaluate, plan, implement, and document post-operative or post-procedural care
• assess ventilation, hemostasis, circulation, consciousness, pain, and safety
• observe patients and report significant conditions or reactions.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Indiana RN licensure, BLS, and two or more years of pre-operative nursing experience. ACLS and PALS must be obtained per department guidelines. Cath lab experience is a plus; BSN and additional pre-operative, pre-admitting, recovery-room, or PACU experience are highly preferred.
