The Electrical Engineering Intern role is onsite at Superior’s headquarters in Columbus, OH, during the Spring 2027 term, January through April. Pay is $25 per hour. Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction. Working with the Engineering team, the intern supports project coordination, engineering documentation, calculations, and studies. The role contributes to construction projects by assisting with design work, field investigations, drawing verification, and learning industry software, codes, and practices.

What you'll do

• Produce and revise document files for construction projects
• create engineering calculations and documents using Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, AmpCalc, and Microsoft Office
• produce engineering studies for short circuit, protective-device coordination, arc-flash hazards, duct-bank conductor ampacity, and cable pulling
• participate in training on software, codes, specifications, and design practices
• visit construction jobsites to assist with field investigations and drawing verification.
