What you'll do

• Conduct thermal modeling and transient and steady-state analyses of components and systems under extreme conditions. Develop and validate models using tools such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, and ITRAC
• assess insulation, ablative materials, and thermal protection systems
• correlate predictions with test data
• collaborate with design and manufacturing teams
• prepare technical reports and participate in design reviews, failure investigations, and improvement initiatives.
