BIM Specialist

Job overview

The BIM Specialist role is fully in-office in Denver, Colorado. Compensation is $28–$32 per hour, based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Swanson Rink designs mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and technology infrastructure for data centers, airports, and other complex buildings. The specialist coordinates building information modeling requirements across engineers, clients, subconsultants, and BIM technicians. The role supports consistent project models and design coordination by managing model workflows, resolving model challenges, and identifying system-routing and space constraints.

What you'll do

• Follow BIM Execution Plans and project workflows
• participate in BIM coordination meetings
• coordinate design changes and model challenges
• develop Revit content
• assist with model packaging, redlines, and work assignments
• manage translations among AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
• interpret drawings and use clash detection to identify system-routing and space constraints.
