CNC Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The CNC Equipment Maintenance Specialist role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with hourly compensation of $30–$40. L.A. Gauge Company produces ultraprecision machining and optics hardware for aerospace, defense, and nuclear industries. The specialist maintains and repairs precision production equipment to support uptime, performance, and safety and quality requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on CNC mills, lathes, EDMs, and CMMs
• troubleshoot 5-axis trunnion CNC machines with FANUC controllers and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• service deburring and finishing machines
• calibrate and verify equipment
• interpret schematics, manuals, and engineering drawings
• maintain maintenance logs and documentation
• coordinate with vendors, service technicians, and engineering teams
• follow ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
