Part-Time Food Service Aide

The Part-Time Food Service Aide role is onsite at Zeta High School in New York, NY. Compensation is $19.25 per hour, and the schedule is approximately 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The aide organizes and maintains school food service, prepares vendor-provided food according to safety guidelines, and coordinates daily meal service. The role supports students' breakfast, lunch, and snack service while helping maintain accurate supplies, meal records, and program documentation.

What you'll do

• Organize safe food storage and maintain a sanitary kitchen
• receive food deliveries
• keep equipment and cafeteria spaces stocked and clean
• prepare vendor-provided food according to safety and preparation guidelines
• coordinate breakfast, lunch, and snack service
• inventory supplies
• report vendor-order issues
• assist with meal accountability and consumption records
• support National School Lunch Program documentation and health inspections
• assist with other school operations tasks as needed.
