The specialist supports accurate and timely reimbursement by managing claims, payment posting, denial resolution, and account follow-up. The role works with internal teams and insurance carriers to resolve billing issues while maintaining payer and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Submit accurate and timely insurance claims
• review and resolve claim rejections and denials
• follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
• submit corrected claims and appeals when appropriate
• review patient accounts and assigned accounts receivable reports
• communicate with payers about billing discrepancies
• maintain account notes and claim status in the practice management system
• identify denial trends and escalate issues
• assist with payment reconciliation, patient billing questions, and electronic or paper payment posting.
