Lead Quality Inspector, EDH Quality Control

The Lead Quality Inspector, EDH Quality Control role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is not specified. The role supports final inspection and testing of Powell-manufactured electrical equipment, including bus duct, motor control, switchgear, and PCR. This position leads and trains an inspection crew while ensuring equipment and inspection records meet applicable quality requirements. It coordinates with production, engineering, sales, customers, and shipping to resolve discrepancies and support customer inspections.

What you'll do

• Train and supervise inspectors conducting final inspection and testing of bus duct, low- and medium-voltage motor control and switchgear, and PCR
• inspect and test equipment manufactured at Powell facilities
• support customer inspections and scheduling
• interface with shop, engineering, sales, customers, and shipping
• record shop and engineering discrepancies
• review inspection and shipping documentation
• verify maintenance of assigned test equipment
• assist the Inspection Supervisor and act as backup when needed.
