Patient Financial Counselor

What you'll do

• Verify insurance and benefits before appointments and treatment cycles
• track insurance changes and maintain valid information in patient charts
• collect payments before scheduled services
• explain financial policies and coverage discrepancies
• complete required pre-certifications and obtain written pre-authorization
• determine and communicate patient financial responsibility
• provide ART financial consultations and obtain payments according to care center guidelines
• advise care teams about coverage limitations.
