SAP Materials Management Lead (S2S)

The SAP Materials Management Lead (S2S) role is hybrid in Fremont, CA, with mandatory travel every alternate week; compensation is not specified. The six-month W-2 contract supports a client’s Source to Settle transformation and transition from legacy ECC Materials Management to S/4HANA. The lead translates procurement and materials-management needs into SAP solutions and integration designs. The work supports a coordinated transition across ERP, product lifecycle management, and manufacturing execution systems, including data governance and operational continuity.

What you'll do

• Partner with client subject-matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements
• lead workshops and fit-gap analysis for Source to Settle
• design SAP MM solutions
• guide the global transition blueprint from ECC MM to S/4HANA
• validate PLM integration for bills of materials, engineering change orders, and material master data
• support MES integration for inventory consumption, serial tracking, and work-in-progress visibility
• guide legacy vendor and customer data conversion to the S/4HANA Business Partner model
• configure procurement, purchase orders, inventory, goods and invoice receipts, vendor master, valuation, release strategies, and service procurement
• support integration across SAP modules and other applications.
