What you'll do

• Respond to emergencies
• perform firefighting, search and rescue, extrication, and emergency first aid including CPR and AED use
• assist with hazardous materials mitigation and rescues
• participate in training and station activities
• preserve evidence of arson and other crimes
• inspect, repair, and maintain apparatus, equipment, hoses, tools, and medical response equipment
• help evaluate new equipment
• operate firefighting vehicles and specialized equipment
• keep assigned apparatus clean, organized, and ready for deployment.
