Fire Protection Engineer

What you'll do

• Establish design criteria for fire alarm, suppression, and life safety systems
• review existing systems and recommend improvements
• prepare client reports
• meet with authorities and clients to resolve compliance questions
• attend appeals and hearings as required
• perform modeling
• gather project information and serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects
• maintain knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
