Floating Maintenance Technician

The Floating Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Fairfield, CT, with pay of $23–$25 per hour. The role helps keep residential properties safe, functional, and well-maintained by completing repairs, preventive maintenance, service requests, and apartment unit turns across multiple sites.

What you'll do

• Travel between assigned apartment properties Monday through Friday
• perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and appliance repairs
• complete work orders
• assist with unit turns and inspections
• conduct preventive maintenance
• diagnose maintenance issues
• follow safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• record work and materials
• communicate with property managers, residents, and vendors
• provide on-call or after-hours emergency maintenance support as required.
