Service Technician II

Job overview

The Service Technician II is an onsite, full-time role in Edwardsville, IL. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. The technician maintains multifamily real estate assets for RBM Partners. The role performs HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance to keep equipment and communities in good working order. Preventive maintenance, timely work orders, and responsive service support residents and property operations.

What you'll do

• Assist the Service Manager with higher-level plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work
• install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
• inspect systems and diagnose issues
• perform preventive maintenance
• replace or upgrade components
• complete work orders and make-ready tasks
• perform grounds maintenance and trash removal
• participate in property inspections
• track tools and supplies
• document work in AppFolio
• train and guide junior technicians
• respond to assigned-property emergencies as part of the on-call rotation.
