What you'll do

• Prepare design drawings and assist with equipment design, evaluation, or modification
• assemble or construct equipment and parts to instructions
• service and repair simple instruments or equipment as directed
• conduct tests using established methods and operate test equipment
• prepare specimens and record and verify test data
• identify deviations caused by equipment issues or observational errors
• extract and process engineering data using algebraic and geometric methods
• present processed data in prescribed formats for engineering review.
