What you'll do

• Provide anesthesia coverage in an acute care hospital
• perform regional anesthesia and independently perform regional blocks
• provide obstetric anesthesia coverage
• supervise anesthesia care teams at ratios up to 4:1
• provide weekday and weekend call coverage
• check in and out with the unit coordinator when entering or leaving the facility.

Why this role

Approximately six-month assignment beginning October 19, 2026; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week; minimum two call shifts weekly. Board certification or eligibility, active New York medical license, at least two years of anesthesiology experience, regional and OB experience, and AHA or RQI certification are required.
