The Registered Nurse — Inpatient Hospice Unit, Per Diem Nights role is onsite at Treasure Coast Hospice’s inpatient units in Fort Pierce and Stuart, FL, where needed; compensation is $36–$37 per hour. The role provides palliative and supportive care to patients and their families. The nurse assesses patient and family needs, develops and updates care plans with the interdisciplinary team, delivers skilled nursing care, and documents outcomes and education. The work supports hospice care goals through coordinated, compassionate clinical care and oversight.

What you'll do

• Assess physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs
• establish and update plans of care with the interdisciplinary team, patient, family, and attending physician
• provide direct nursing care including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and activities of daily living
• evaluate and document medication response
• communicate pertinent information to the team
• document condition changes, interventions, outcomes, and education
• supervise CNAs and LPNs
• participate in departmental initiatives and training.
