The Staff Engineer, Java/AWS — Cloud Contact Center role is onsite in Englewood, CO, with an annual base pay range of $110,100–$180,900. This role designs, develops, and supports custom applications and integrations for the Amazon Connect platform. It contributes to efficient enterprise contact center operations by building customer interaction workflows, backend services, agent workspaces, and AI-enabled tools.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and implement Amazon Connect contact flows and reusable modules
• develop serverless Java and Python functions and microservices
• build React agent workspaces using Amazon Connect Streams API
• deploy AI systems using Amazon Bedrock and RAG
• build secure REST APIs with AWS API Gateway
• improve reliability, observability, automated simulations, and CloudWatch monitoring.
