What you'll do

• Obtain and manage insurance preauthorization
• track requests through approval and follow up on pending or delayed cases
• resolve denials, missing documentation, and payer requirements
• verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• maintain case tracking records
• serve as the insurance contact for assigned cases
• communicate with carriers
• confirm and track medical clearance requirements
• submit clearance documentation to the hospital
• escalate at-risk cases
• coordinate with the Surgical Scheduling Coordinator.
